Includes depictions of balloons, Britannia, butchers, the Devil, John Bull, Phaeton and the Zodiac. Individuals portrayed include Paul Barras, Francis Burdett, George Canning, Charles James Fox, George III, Earl Grey, Lord Grenville, the Empress Josephine, the Emperor Napoleon, William Pitt, Lord Salisbury, Richard Brinsley Sheridan, Tallyrand, John Horne Tooke and Madame Tallien. Pol.IV.17 & Pol.IV.19 are broadsides; the verses below the title of Pol.IV.19 are attributed to Paul Sandby.
