  6. Illustrations: 21 prints from 18 blocks : woodcut ; image ca. 16 x 12 cm. (2), ca. 13 x 11 cm. (13), or smaller. The 18 cuts (including 2 repeats) in the first part are copies of cuts in the Veraud edition; of these, 14 were designed for this text, including large cut on t.p. depicting "Lacteur," "Archilupus" and "Saincte doctrine"; the others depict "Archilupus"/"Le grant loup rauissant" instructing young wolves and "Saincte Doctrine" as a shepherdess instructing her flock. Two small cuts had been used previously. Two nearly full-page cuts in the second part, depicting the death of a king and Death in a cloister, are new to this edition; a 3rd small cut is a repeat of the cut on A2v. -- Historiated, floriated and criblé initials.
  7. Second part (p. [412-496]) has caption title: "Comment la mort de son pouoir se vante, en racomptant le mal quaux humains fait et comme iceuly pour leurs pechez tourmente, par le vueil dieu vers qui ilz ont forfait."
