Summary

1. To celebrate twenty years of choreography, 1982-2004, in this program Lea Anderson with The Cholmondleys and The Featherstonehaughs present a unique reworking of early seminal works. Flesh & blood, originally performed by an all-female ensemble, is performed here by men. Double take is a compilation of early cabaret-style works originally performed by men, here performed by women. Each piece is followed by a 10-min. interview with Lea Anderson, who speaks about the inspirations for the works, their music, design and lighting, the effects of the gender swap and how the pieces were adapted for the camera.
