Summary
  1. Gia Kourlas moderates a panel discussion with choreographer Brian Reeder, who discusses the dance, Gotcha! Reeder describes his use of the music Asche composed by Mark André; the process of creating the choreography; how he has been inspired by film; and his own career as a dancer. George Steel moderates a panel discussion with composer Peter Phillips, founder and conductor of the Tallis Scholars, who discusses his relatively new career as a composer. He also talks about his piece Four Rondeaux by Charles D'Orleans, including the instrumentation, the use of a contralto voice, and the texts themselves.
  2. Gia Kourlas moderates another panel discussion with Karole Armitage, choreographer of the work Visual brainstorming. Armitage discusses her choice of the music Mes Béatitudes composed by Gérard Pesson; the choreography; her use of improvisation in the dance; and her decision to move from Europe back to New York.
