The general title border, depicting the Brethren singing, had previously been used in the Ivančice 1576 edition.--cf. reproduction in Simon, T. F. Dřevoryt, Praha, 1927. p. 29. The half-title border, repeated three times, is signed by the woodcutter, H S, and has been attributed to Jan Severýn. For reproduction of the large initial and border on p. [1], previously used in the Ivančice 1564 edition, cf. Horák, fig. 74. Slightly wormed.
  5. Binding, 16th century German, of blind stamped brown leather, with the initials of the stamp cutter, H W, in outer border.
