- "I disclaim this taped record of my show 'Jerome Robbins' Broadway' completely. It does not represent the musical which covers some 20 years of my commercial work and, in fact, does a great injustice to the creative collaborators and every aspect of the original project. A 'better' record of the choreography, staging and intentions, can be viewed in the rehearsal tapes made at Purchase, New York a few weeks prior to the commencement of the Broadway previews. These were made without scenery, costumes, orchestra or lighting and with the original cast but before adjustments, cuts, etc. were made during final rehearsal and previews. Signed, Jerome Robbins, April 14, 1992"--video credits.
