  1. Part one (ca. 47 min.). Ray Green speaks with Don McDonagh about composing music for the Martha Graham Company; how he came about scoring music for Graham's dances as an acquaintance of Louis Horst's; Graham's search for a composer and his work with Graham; scoring music for various other events; working with Louis Horst more than with Graham directly; rehearsing with Graham and Erick Hawkins at Bennington, and his impressions of Bennington; his opinion on Graham's interactions with Hawkins, and the nature of their relationship.
  2. Part two (ca. 32 min.). Ray Green speaks with Don McDonagh about a much later performance in which he was asked by Ron Protas to work on the music for a re-enactment of American document; seeing the interpretation of the dance and deciding to pull out of the project; his opinions of Ron Protas; his interactions with Martha Graham in later years; his relationship with Graham; May O'Donnell's later work, including Suspension, and O'Donnell's principal dancers; ends the interview by giving his opinions of working with Graham [abrupt end].
