- Summary
- This tape records the activities of researchers at the Los Angeles Zoo regarding the behavior of the gorilla, largest of all primates. It examines the gorilla's highly developed senses, its social interactions, eating and sleeping habits. At the zoo, keepers have developed a special rapport with the creatures whose existence in the wild is threatened by the destruction of habitats and declining birth rates.
