Summary
  1. In this contemporary re-shaping of the Peter Pan tale, Peter Banning (the erstwhile Peter Pan) is a high-powered attorney whose career continually intrudes on his personal life - during his daughter Maggie's performance as Wendy in a school performance of Peter Pan and before an important baseball game for son Jack. The family visits Grandmother Wendy in London on the occasion of her being honored by the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital for her work with orphans, of which Peter is one. Returning home, the Bannings discover that Jack and Maggie have been abducted by Captain James Hook who has left a challenge for Peter to reclaim his children. Peter is himself spirited away by Tinkerbell who deposits him in the midst of Hook's cutthroat crew and enlists the Lost Boys to train Peter in the ways of Neverland. Their indoctrination enables Peter to recall his initial reasons for retreating to Neverland and his ultimate abandonment of the fantastical kingdom. In the end, Peter rescues his children and defeats the dastardly pirate. Peter's grown-up adventures are enhanced by the special effects of George Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic company.
