- Summary
- Koko, a gentle gorilla, lives with Dr. Francine "Penny" Patterson, who, as a student cared for Koko during a prolonged illness, and later, taught her sign language. This tape documents Koko's loving relationship with the kitten All-Ball. When All-Ball is run over by a car, Koko grieves for her lost companion and eventually asks for a new friend. On the day she receives a red manx cat, Koko joyfully signs "love that baby."
