- Summary
- A study of three Chicano artists and the impact of their work on ethnic communities in and around the city of Denver. Mural painters, Manuel Martinez, Carlota Espinoza and Carlos Sandoval are seen at work in a barrio, on a church ceiling, on an interior school wall and on community buildings. The artists, often aided by students and community residents, reveal their committment to mural painting as a highly visible art form "for the people" illustrative of Chicano pride.
