Summary
  1. Vibrant color and bluegrass music accompany this non-narrated animated tale about a family outing and a lost child. A group of mice happily pack up picnic baskets and hop aboard a pickup truck for a day in the country. Along the way, the truck hits a bump and the smallest mouse is bounced off and separated from his loved ones. Alone in the woods, the mouse picks berries and waits to be rescued. Meanwhile, his friends and relatives enjoy picking flowers, playing music, and swimming, oblivious to his absence. Calling the children for lunch, the adult mice are dismayed to discover that one of their number is missing. An elderly mouse recalls driving over the bump in the road. Hurriedly, the group retraces their journey and finds the mouse. They resume their picnic but the little rodent falls asleep, exhausted by his ordeal.
