Summary
  1. The rite of spring: A pagan Slavonic tribe assembles on the occasion of a feast devoted to the sacred spring. One of the girls has to be made a human sacrifice to the Sun God according to the choice of the Possessed. The choice is the beloved of the Shepard who has to find a way of saving her. A protest against barbarity and brutality starts to rage in his heart.
  2. Fire-bird: Ivan Tsarevich enlists the help of the Firebird to free his beloved Tsarevna from the grasp of the cruel magician, Kostchei.
  3. The miraculous Mandarin: In the beginning, a nightmarish city is seen as cold and hostile to a young female, who is picked up from the rubbish dump. She sees a corpse -- The Miraculous Mandarin -- and he begins to pursue her throughout the city. She feels fear and terror, dismay and horror, interest and desire and finally, love and bereavement. They merge in unity followed by death.
