  1. Rev. John Cross married Deborah Oldfield and was prominent in the founding of the New Brunswick Presbytery, co-worker with the Tennent brothers in establishing the Log College movement, and was the founding pastor of the Basking Ridge, New Jersey Presbyterian Church.
