Summary
  1. Stage drama concerning the production of Marcel Carné's 1945 film Les enfants du paradis (i.e. Children of Paradise), which was made in France during the last days of the German occupation. Features characters based on Carné and a number of his lead actors (including Arletty and Jean-Louis Barrault) as well as other personnel involved in the making of the film. Sequences from the film, which was co-authored by Carné and Jacques Prévert, are re-enacted.
