1. Snapshot photographs (11 x 16 cm. or smaller), compiled by the photographer in multi-pocket album sleeves.
2. Photographs depict the New York metropolitan area from 1977-2009. Each photograph is labeled with subject, date and photographer's name; many labels include locations within the New York City area.
3. Subjects include New York metropolitan area bridges, buildings, business signs and advertisements, demonstrations, elevated transit train tracks, ferry boats, fireworks, graffiti, Halloween parade costumes, homeless people, murals, museums, park landscapes, pets, residents and workers, scale models of the city, snow scenes, sports fields, statues, street artists, street scenes, subway cars, and sunsets.
4. Vol. 1 includes one snapshot of the photographer, Rob Scott, in Inwood Hill Park (1988). Vol. 2 includes two snapshots of poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti at Gotham Book Mart (June 3, 2005). Vol. 3 contains photographs of the stagehands strike in 2007 and Hurricane Irene damage in August 2001. Vol. 4 contains photographs of 5Pointz graffiti, the Occupy Wall Street gathering at Zuccotti Park, and Red Grooms at his art show at the Marlborough Gallery in September 2011. Vol. 6-8 contains photographs from 2012 including Occupy Wall Street and Hurricane Sandy damage. Vol. 7 contains 5Pointz graffiti in 2012.
