Summary
  1. Reviewer's reel of excerpts from the 1987 revival of the 1926 drama Broadway, co-authored by Philip Dunning and George Abbott. Abbott directed this revival at Cleveland's Ohio Theatre one month prior to his 100th birthday, when the production transferred to Broadway.
  2. The latter portion of this video consists of footage from the 100th birthday celebration of producer/director/playwright George Abbott, at an unidentified restaurant in New York. On this same evening Abbott's revival of his 1926 drama Broadway opened at Broadway's Royale Theatre. Songwriting team Betty Comden and Adolph Greene speak and perform at the party.
