Note
  1. The four discs consist of four recordings made on separate occasions.
  2. Disc 1 (tracks 1 to 7), in English: Lisan Kay reads aloud an article she wrote about Yeichi Nimura entitled Destiny and I meet Nimura 1931-1964. The recording date is not identified, but the recording was probably made in 1965 or 1966.
  3. Disc 1 (track 8) to disc 2, in English: A recording of a radio broadcast with a guest speaker, Billy Rose. The recording date is unknown.
  4. Disc 3 (tracks 1 to 4), in Japanese: Yeichi Nimura briefly speaks with an unidentified Japanese female regarding dance. The female identifies herself as a Fulbright research scholar in dance. The dancer may be Kaoru Ishii, who came to the U.S. as a Fulbright research scholar in 1964. The recording date is not identified, but the recording was probably made around 1965 based on the handwritten notes in the original container.
  5. Disc 3 (track 5) to disc 4, in English and Japanese: Lisan Kay and Yeichi Nimura engage in an informal, general conversation with an unidentified male (perhaps Nario Goto?). There is very little conversation about dance. The recording date is not identified, but the recording was probably made in 1965 based on the handwritten notes in the original container.
  6. The sound quality is good in discs 1, 2, and 4. The sound quality is fair in disc 3. Extraneous noise is loud and the voices are not always intelligible in disc 3.
