Summary
  1. American theatre and film director Tom O'Horgan shares his memories about the New York Shakespeare Festival production of the musical Hair: the American tribal love-rock musical (book and lyrics by J. Rado and G. Ragni ; music by Galt MacDermot) that started its run during the New York Shakespeare Festival in 1967 and transfered to Broadway in 1968. He talks about his experience working with Joseph Papp, the authors and other production and cast members of the Broadway edited production of this musical that became his Broadway directorial debut and finally brought him great success. He also speaks about Papp's personality and his professionalism as a producer and director of the New York Shakespeare Festival.
