Summary
  1. A slick producer (Dom DeLuise) persuades Mikhail Baryshnikov to pursue Hollywood stardom. As Orson Welles narrates, Baryshnikov moves through several genres of film - silents, swashbucklers, westerns, and film noir - assisted by an all-star cast. On his return home, he creates a Hollywood-inspired ballet - and the producer purchases the movie rights. The production is quite tongue-in-cheek: Welles jokes about "Citizen Kane", Baryshnikov's accent is played for comic effect, etc. A note on the closing credits dedicates the production "to James Cagney, with love and affection."
