Title, date, location, and performers provided by cataloger based on handwritten note on original DAT container, audition, and performance program.
Handwritten note on original DAT container: "City Center '95 ; Minevent - Kosugi, Steuert [Stuart] Dempster, John Adams, D[']arcy Grey [Gray] ; Sounddance - Tudor".
Contains the music for one of Merce Cunningham's MinEvents, and, Sounddance (1975).
Based on audition and the other performances in this series, it is likely that Stuart Dempster plays the trombone and didjeridu in this recording although Dempster is not listed as a musician for the MinEvents in the performance programs. John Driscoll is credited as a musician for the MinEvents in the performance programs, but it is unclear if Driscoll plays on this recording based on the note on the original DAT container.
Sound quality is good.
