Program on various aspects of dance. Covers a breif history of dance, especially ballet, dance education and Eliot Feld's special dance program with the NYC public school system. There is a dance demonstration by Satinoff and Sarry, followed by a profile on international dance companies touring NYC and dance productions on Broadway. Three women, Berger, Schweid, and Summerhays, perform At the Ballet from A Chorus Line. Laura Dean and David Gordon discuss their work, process, and choreographic styles with host Joanne Woodward. Liv Ullman then interviews Judith Bunney, then-president of the American Dance Therapy Association about the organization.
