- Summary
- The Sigrid Astrom collection of ephemera (1930-1938) primarily contains clippings on the theater and film careers of actors Lynn Fontanne, Alfred Lunt, and Walter Huston. There are also clippings about set designer and director Robert Edmond Jones and his work with the Central City Opera House in Colorado. Many of the clippings are in scrapbooks. The collection includes scrapbooks on The Guardsman, Elizabeth the Queen, and Reunion in Vienna, all starring Lunt and Fontanne, and Dodsworth, starring Huston. The Reunion in Vienna scrapbook includes a promotional booklet and a small amount of clippings concerning the film adaptation of the play. The collection also contains transcripts of 1935 radio interviews with Jones, Huston, and Nan Sunderland.
