- 1 videocassette (25 min.) : sd., col.; 3/4 in.
- Summary
- "The original video performance of Amphibian was commissioned by The Harvard Summer Dance Center and first performed at the Loeb Drama Center in July, 1985."--wgbh.org
- "If I could fly, I would fly, features the camera and video work of artist Mary Lucier and the choreography of Elizabeth Streb. Streb and other performers are seen in natural environments such as water, a sandy beach, and a grassy meadow. The dancers are often filmed in close-ups, so that their bodies appear suspended as they leap, jump, or twist. The work becomes increasingly more aerial, and the final segment shows the performers engaging in trampoline and trapeze work. The dancers are clad in primary-colored unitards."--wgbh.org
