  2. Two reviews of Fishing for Wives by Edward Sakamoto. This comedy is about a plain-looking Japanese fisherman in Hawaii who has not found a wife. He uses a handsome friend's photograph to advertise for a wife in Japan. The woman is angry that she has been duped but marries the fisherman, anyway, so that she may be near the handsome friend. The Pan Asian Repertory production was reviewed April 10, 2014, when it was produced at Clurman Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, New York, N.Y.
