1. General Doron Rubin (Res.) fought as a field officer in all the conflicts from 1967-1988. He trained hundreds of commanders. Here he speaks of a commander's responsibilty to succeed but also to admit his failures. He analyzes some of Israel's most famous military men: Raful Eitan, Kahalani, Ehud Barak, Shaul Mofaz, Yitshak Mordechai, Dan Shomron, as well as battles and military policies about matters such as training, the unexpected, morale, measuring bravery, care for the wounded, and acceptance of casualties.
