Using music, words and images to explore the artistic, cultural and scientific world of the 17th and 18th centuries, the Galileo Project: Music of the Spheres was created as Tafelmusik's contribution to the United Nations International Year of Astronomy, marking 2009 as the 400th anniversary of Galileo's first use of the telescope.
