Aurora have chosen an American-themed program which takes a musical journey across the country, with Aaron Copland's bucolic Appalachian Spring, Charles Ives' shimmering The Houstatonic at Stockbridge from his Three Places in New England, and John Adams' monumental, irrepressibly kinetic Chamber Symphony.
