Summary

1. To accompany an exhibition on the artist Augusta Savage, a round table discussion on her work and influence was held at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Participants in the discussion include artists who studied with her including: Robert Blackburn, Ernest Crichlow, Walter Christmas, Elton Fax, Riva Helfond, Gwendolyn Knight, Jacob Lawrence, Elba Lightfoot, Georgette Seabrooke, Marvin Smith and Morgan Smith. A question-and-answer session follows the presentations.
