- The Sharon Bridgforth photographs depict various aspects of Bridgforth's literary and theatrical career as well as her personal relationships.
- The Personal series includes primarily snapshots of parties and other unidentified events.
- The Professional series includes depictions of events relating to Bridgforth's literary career, including the 1998 Lambda Literary Awards, where Bridgforth won the Award for Best Book by a Small Press for her book "the bull-jean stories," as well as candid photographs of various readings, festivals and/or workshops. The series also includes promotional photographs of the root wy'mn Theatre Company, which was founded by Bridgforth. Additionally included is documentation of Bridgforth's 1998 theatrical production "blood pudding."
