A video recording compilation of performance and rehearsals by the Martha Graham Dance Company. The first recording was created as part of a larger professional production that included two other dances. The second recording is a stage rehearsal originally captured on film in 1965 and features Martha Graham. All the dancers are in rehearsal clothing except for Martha Graham who appears in costume. The final recording is a studio rehearsal of Phaedra's dream. This appears to be during the creation phase of the choreography.
