Summary
A video recording of a survival workshop led by Bill T. Jones in the preparation for and creation of his choreographic work Still/here. This was the first in a series of workshops held around the United States. These workshops include discussions about life, death, mortality, and disease with movement, spoken word, and art sessions with the participants. The participants are all diagnosed with, or survivors of, a wide range of terminal illnesses including cancer and AIDS.
Title and date from original videocassette labels. Based on other material, it is likely these workshops were recorded in November 1992.
