- "Sixteen craftsmen dressed in boiler suits and aprons walk onto the stage and start working--among them a gentleman wearing a tailcoat, an actor. Off to the side, in a corner of the stage space, he begins reading ... The text is from the famous encyclopedia written by 16th century Swiss and French academics. The words describe both the work and the tools that are being used. Then we hear the sounds of the various types of work, from cobbler to barrel-maker, from joiner to knife grinder, from plasterer to carpenter etc., which unite to form a captivating symphony ..."--Insert.
