Summary

1. Texts and materials that have been previously published on the work of Isabel Ruiz (Guatemala 1945) were the basis for the second volume of Retrato Hablado. The texts are divided into three sections and are accompanied by snapshots of photographers such as Eny Roland Hernández, Andrés Asturias and Ameno Córdova. The collection of journalistic works, interviews and curatorial texts delves into the different facets of the life and work of the noted painter and engraver. The book also includes five poems written by her husband, the writer and National Prize of Literature, Francisco Morales Santos.
