- "Following the world première of Sonntags-Abschied in 2004, the synthesizer sounds were electronically stored as 5 x 2 separate tracks, synchronized with 5 click-tracks. These were then mixed down in 2005 by Stockhausen, assisted by Kathinka Pasveer and Antonio Pérez Abellàn, at the Sound Studio N in Cologne, together with Günter Kasper (sound engineer) . . . It is possible that other realisations of the score will be made"--Booklet, p. 13.
