  1. Discusses book of hours produced in the Southern Netherlands ca. 1450, probably for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy. Illuminations are attributed to Jean Tavernier, Loyset Liédet; the binding was executed by Antonius van Gavere of Bruges. Ms. is currently preserved at the Bibliothèque royale Albert Ier under the shelfmark IV 1290.
  2. Appendix (p. 69-71) includes text of three French prayers from the Tavernier hours, which are found only in collections of prayers belonging to Philip the Good.
