Summary
  1. The transportation of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) via truck loading is a fast growing vector of natural gas delivery and the main alternative to supply via pipelines. According to the International Gas Union (IGU), European imports of LNG have been growing, most noticeably in France and Spain. This publication provides a practical case study on how trucking of LNG could help ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy services to various communities and businesses in Spain. The 50-year long Spanish experience in LNG truck-loading may provide some food for thought to other countries.
