- Summary
- Extract: In general, the aim of this paper is to study the prospects for long-run growth in production and income for smallholder households in the dry savanna areas of West Africa. Despite an interest in the behavior of the farm household system over time, the study does not propose to formulate a set of optimal growth strategies for the agricultural firm, but rather to investigate the impact of various constraints on the viability of the firm over time.
