More than a hundred sketches and watercolors by Gregory survive. Most of her artworks feature architectural details and objects or sites of historical, archaeological, or literary interest. From around 1888, her Galway locale became her most frequent focus. The sketches of Ballylee Castle and Ballylee mill were done in 1895. Her last sketchbook dates from 1900. Thereafter, her literary career left her little time for further drawing.
