Aguilar Library is temporarily closed for building improvements. It is expected to reopen in late 2024.

- Harlem Library (♿ Fully accessible)
Please note: Due to new Library policy, e-bikes, e-scooters, and electronic transportation devices are not permitted inside any NYPL location. This does not apply to mobility aids.

About the Library

The Aguilar branch opened on February 28, 1903, and it is named for author Grace Aguilar. The three-story library features unlimited WiFi as well as public computers available for reservation. The first floor houses adult and young adult collections. The second floor is home to a children's room, and the third floor is a multi-use room.
