New! Print Direct from Your Personal Device
Using our simple web portal, you can now select documents to print at Seward Park Library directly from your personal device! The fee is $0.20 per page (black and white). Only paper provided by the Library can be used. Documents sent for printing will remain available for up to two hours after they have been sent.

Build, code, and investigate with NYPL’s amazing STEAM Discovery Kits! Available to borrow from Seward Park Library and select other branches across the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island, these kits enable kids and tweens to explore robotics, circuitry, microbiology, engineering, coding, and more using exciting tools, toys, and books at home.

Join us for NYPL After School, our free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours, Monday to Thursday, when school is in session. Get homework help from one of our tutors or Teen Reading Ambassadors, plus reading recommendations, fun activities, and even snacks!

About the Library
The Seward Park Branch of The New York Public Library is one of 65 branches erected with funds given to New York City by Andrew Carnegie. The building houses adult, reference, and young adult collections on the third floor; a children’s room on the second floor; adult, media, and world language collections on the first floor; and a literacy center on the lower level.
