Gelatin silver print, 8 x 10 in.
Dewdrop’s costume shows the symmetry of Barbara Karinska at work, as the corsetry that is concealed and yet simultaneously defines the time period in the first act is now revealed in Dewdrop’s bodice, making her an inversion of the women in Act I, the transparent panelling suggesting at a freedom that is only available in a fantasy land.
