Vignette
Vignettes allow viewers to take a glimpse into special moments of everyday life. Abstract artist Ed Clark’s etching shows a spectrum of colors that are like hues of a rainbow after a rainy downpour. Francisco Mora’s lithograph In New York illustrates people in motion on a typical New York City day. Ethiopian artist Tesfaye Tessema’s lithograph Hot Day is the backdrop of an orange sunset on an extremely warm sunny day. Norma Morgan’s etching The Rising Tide depicts the embrace of two lovers in their moment of intimacy. All of these prints capture fleeting moments with evocative imagery.
