This photograph features choreographer Eliot Feld at age 12. Feld was a student of the School of American Ballet and the New Dance Group, and danced in his early 20s for American Ballet Theatre. Later, Feld formed his own company which experimented with different dance forms, and he was also a co-founder of the Joyce Theater with Cora Cahan in 1982, but here, he is every inch the gallant escort for Mary as they journey through a snowy forest on their way to Candy Land.
